Day of the Dead Poets Slam is an event where Poetry Slam and the Dia de los Muertos are combined to create a multi-cultural synthesis designed to serve our entire community. The over arching theme is Dia de los Muertos, art, altar making and other activities, culminating in a Dead Poets Slam.

Poets will be selected by a three person panel, and notified of their decision a few days after auditions.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts & cultural heritage fund.
